Great drawing :D I went to a Gary Hodges exhibition about a year ago and have been in love with his work ever since

I HATE YOU :grump:

Sorry, just jealous as hell as it was his work that made me pick up pencils in the first place. I'll have to check his page and see if he has any exhibits next year that I can get to.

Thank you for your kind words but obviously my version is a poor imitation.:icongwompplz:

I saw the exhibition at a place called 'Nature in Art' just outside Gloucester - I think they might have a couple of originals in their collection - not sure though :) It's a great place to visit anyway if you like wildlife art :D

I interviewed Mr Hodges for my art course at school last year. He's a very cool guy, an amazing artist and very easy to speak to. You've done a really good job here! I reckon he would be proud.

That must have been fantastic, judging by his site and other things I've read on him I got the impression he was friendly and down to earth.

I think this was about the 3rd or 4th thing I attempted to draw when I started last year so was a real challenge and falls well short of his fantastic pencil skills.

Thank you kindly for your comment.
